Using the site
The current site provides static articles, navigation, a guide filter, and a local payment-cost calculator. The calculator performs its arithmetic in your browser. Its inputs are not submitted by the site code to Payables Guide or a payment provider, and the site does not ask for account credentials.
The hosting service may process request information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, requested page, and browser information. This site does not publish a specific hosting-log retention period.
Outbound links and referrals
Following a provider, source, or affiliate link takes you to a third-party service. That service may process referral information and use its own cookies or tracking under its own policies. Review those policies before submitting information there.
We do not control a third party's collection, retention, or account processes. A link from an article is not a representation that the third party follows this site's practices.
Information you send through the contact form
The contact form sends the name, reply address, topic, page address, and message you provide to Formspree for delivery to our editorial workflow. Include only information needed to explain the editorial question. Do not send bank information, tax identifiers, passwords, or transaction documents.
